As part of our strategic approach to global expansion, Grabba has appointed Wayne Salzgaber as Vice President for the Americas. An accomplished leader, Mr. Salzgaber will scale regional operations for Grabba in the biometrics, identity management, and data capture markets in the Americas.
A career law enforcement and homeland security executive, Mr. Salzgaber has more than three decades of service with the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security (DHS), and Justice (DOJ), in addition to his military service in the U.S. Coast Guard. Most recently he served as a principal and subject matter expert for the U.S. federal intelligence, military, and law enforcement sectors at Deep Water Point & Associates.
Prior to his retirement from federal service, Mr. Salzgaber served in several key executive leadership positions at DHS and DOJ with over a decade as a member of the U.S. government’s Senior Executive Service (SES). Among the influential leadership positions he held, Wayne served as the Director of the Current Operations Division at DHS, leading several DHS operational coordination, information sharing, crisis management, and special event risk mitigation programs. He was also appointed by the U.S. Attorney General to serve as the U.S. representative to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), as well as the 14th Director of INTERPOL Washington, the United States National Central Bureau, at the DOJ in Washington, D.C. In this capacity he led the U.S. government’s efforts to coordinate operations and exchange U.S. criminal justice information with INTERPOL and its’ 195 member countries.
